Michelle is an artist and designer located in Quispamsis, New Brunswick on unceded Wolastoqiyik territory. 

She has been creating art for as long as she can remember - during childhood, there were definitely times she was caught drawing on the walls, and she was the one at summer camp making friendship bracelets for everyone. As the years go on, her passion for art and creation only grows stronger.

She is an Indigenous artist, claimed by the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. She began teaching herself beadwork in 2021, and while she started with more traditional practices and designs, Michelle has since expanded and now designs her own templates for beading, featuring a more modernized style. Michelle sells her beadwork primarily, but also loves to craft, to paint, and to do digital art.

Art by Michelle La Forme as a business was started as a way for Michelle to support herself and her family financially through the means of creation. As a wife and a mother, she is always looking for ways to incorporate creativity and a little more flexibility into her busy schedule.

Michelle is passionate about art and design and pours her heart into every piece she makes.
